What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness refers to being aware or conscious of the present moment. You may pay attention to your thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations or surrounding environment. Being mindful help you to clear your head and slow down your thoughts. It can help you to relax and concentrate, and can make you more aware of your self and your surroundings.
Mindfulness meditation is one way to be more mindful. It involves you quietly sitting or lying and concentrating on your breathing and the sensations you are feeling through your body.
